Cert any, un pastor estava molt enfadat pel mal temps hagut al Març.  L’últim dia del mes, el pastor va etzibar a Març: “Ah, Març, Març, et desitjo el pitjor”.

Llavors Març va demanar a Abril: “Abrilcillo, abrilcillo, dóna’m dos dies i mitjà per a les cent ovelles, i el carner perduts pel pastor”. I Abril li va concedir dos dies i mitjà. I aquests dies Març va portar una tempesta tremenda, i un aiguat va fer desaparèixer a totes les ovelles en la cova d’Ubegi.

El pastor es va agarrar al carner, però la banya se li va ficar a l’ull, i ho va perdre. Des de llavors els dos primers dies i mig del mes d’Abril solen ser de mal temps. (Zozomikoteak)
